Question about Hitachi 51F59 51" HDTV Projection Television
There is a slot in the back of the set that looks like a memory card slot.
The on screen menu also mentions a memory upgrade. What is it and what does it do? The tv works fine no problems.
The slot in the back of your TV is for upgrading the software version . It is like flashing the bios on a computer. If you are
having HDMI issues such as loss of audio, audio out of sync, color problems, intermittant shut off, snowy pix Etc. you may have to upgrade. Hitachi is aware of certain issues and they have downloads available to solve conflicts as they are identified.
