Faceplate has very loose connection

the faceplate stays on and seems secure, when i hit a bump or press the vol. control or other buttons on the stereo, it will reset itself.

make sure there is no dirt between the metal connections. on my kenwood, excessive removal of the faceplate caused a little dirt build up...check this and itll probably solve your problem
