you have an electrical problem, it drains your car battery it's better to let the automotive electrician to check your brake lights electrical line, as you stated on your concern that the brake lights stays on.
does the engine turn over and not fire up ? or does it not turn over at all ? if not turning over at all i'd think you have a flat battery , if turns and not fires get the OBD codes read as this will show the faulty sensor/switch
You need to find out id your ign switch is sending 12v electrical to the starter.. There ia large post with the positive battery cable attached to it and a small post which is the wire from the ign switch connects.. run a wire from a postive source like the battery cable to the small post.. if the engine cranks you will know the starter is good and its not getting a 12 single from the ign switch.
