samesies! lol jk the same thing happens to me. the disc may be dirty, the disc reader (laser) night be messed up, etc. This is what i usually do-- I first turn off the xbox. take off the hard drive plug it back in. try to play again. if this does not work, while your xbox is horizontal, tip it up slowly. Dont make it vertical, just tip it backwards so its on the cords. since the reader may be old gravity willl help it read the game and let u play. Hope this works!

this is a problem the microsoft has been working on ... remove any disc from the tray> unplug it from all power the plug it back in> open the disc tray .. leave it open for a little while like 10-15 seconds .. then put the game in and it should work .. if it does not however you have one of the defected disc trays and you'll need to get it repaired by microsoft .. i know its not what you want to hear but hey at least they will fix it free of charge =]
