Question about Epson LQ 580 Matrix Printer
I tryed to print a thing for off the internet about the bone structure, it would let me print it with no problems. After it was finished I looked at the parper and all the letters were ascii 2 characters and the picture was just bullets all over the page. I tried this many times and i get the same thing every time and have no clue about what is the problem. If any one know what the problem is your help will be helpful.
Hey Kaz, do a "print preview".. this will tell you whether its the computer interpretation/rendering or its the printer...

Sounds like a driver issue. The computer expects the printer to interpret #! as part of the "next page" string. The printer doesn't interpret it that way, and prints it instead. You'll either need to change your printer's emulation mode (if it has that feature, some older dot matrix printers do), or get a new printer driver. I'm guessing the latter. You're probably using a driver that's for a slightly different model.
