Wheer would I go to get a Back light for an LCD screen in a Technics PR-305 Digital Piano?

Where would I go to get a back light for a Technics LCD screen? I learned the failer is not the LCD screen itself, but the back light bulb.

I have a Technics PR-305 Digital Piano. I had a couple of guys come out to see if they could fix it. Only the LCD display and the front light worked. It must be the power supply.

I have I Technics PR-305 Digital Piano. I took it apart to try to clean the rubber contacts with rubbing alcohol. It improve some what, then later on I turned on my Technics R-305 Digital Piano.

I would suggest taking it into the nearest factory authorized repair center. Go to the Technics web site to find one in your area.

I have a Technics PR-305 Digital Piano LCD Display back light That has gone dim can that be fixed to make it brighter?

Hi!
Most cases you can replace just the backlight itself, not the whole display. Contact http://www.telesisgear.com/index.html for the part. It's a relatively simple repair, but if you can't do it yourself, most any music repair shop or music tech can take care of it short order.

Can an inverter that powers the back light of an LCD display of a Technics PR-305 be repaired to make it light up brighter?

Yes. It is a fluorescent tube. It has to be from the OEM though.. It usually comes as a diver board and tube assy.

I have a Technics PR-305 Digital piano The back light is barely light when I turn on the piano Can that be replaced?

yes maybe you may fined that some of the power to the led is being blocked by causing a larger resistant to the led which will cause it not to light up as bright.

Where would I go to get a back light for a Technics PR-305 Liquid crystal display

It could be the light, or it could be the inverter that powers the backlight. Try asking this guy: http://www.mikebarden.com/technics-electronic-digital-kn-pr-px-piano-keyboard-ensemble-repairs/

I Have a Technics PR-305 Digital piano that I have for a little over 12 years ago that I enjoy playing on very much, I have a distortion problem in my speakers it`s not very bad I was told in Fixya th

The Speakers can be replaced with any brand. The thing you need to know is the OHM rating for the speaker. OHM is also called impedance. Unless the sticker has fallen off the back of the speaker that information will be on that sticker. OHM rating MUST match the old speaker. For instance 4 OHM, 8 OHM, 16 OHM are common ratings. All different ratings but VERY important to get this correct otherwise you could damage the electronics of your instrument.

Technics PR-305 Digital Piano

It sounds like you are in need of a new piano. These are common issues with keyboards. The age is a big factor. It would cost just as much in repairs as it would to buy a new keyboard.
