Question about Peavey PRO-12 (00497070) Main / Stereo Speaker
Speaker crackling can be caused by a number of problems. usually it is the wiring, amp or speaker. you can check to see if it is the amp or wiring by switching sides to see if the problem continues on the same side or with the same speaker. if it is the speaker, a replacement basket can be installed on the magnet or the speaker can be reconed depending on which model driver is in the cabinet.
