Disconnect all speaker wires from the back of the receiver and turn it back on. If overload does not turn on, post a comment and I can walk you thru troubleshooting. If it does, your receiver needs to be serviced. Hope this helps

My Technics sa GX350 tuner keeps going into overload. It's the only thing plugged in.

Hi mate, had the same problem with my amp.. Take the top off and there is a fan at the back, there are 2 piece's of copper flat wire that touch together and these do not touch anymore so when its turned up or the bass gets stronger it cuts off as the fan should kick in at this point. If you can get these to touch again (bend them) then the problem will be gone!! I have had to do this a few times now though so this is not a long term fix.. I may try soldering!

My Tchnics Sa-Da10 shuts down on what appears to

Ahh technics. Technics always had overheating problems, trust me. Every since they started, their amps would get so hot they would hurt to touch. The reason the fan is not coming on seams to be something inside the circuit board. I'm sure that technics could fix this. If the fan works out of the receiver, then it must not be the fan. ;P

I would maybe get a computer fan, and just put it on top of the receiver and turn it on, or send it in for fixing. Also, do you have to crank the volume to get the speakers to play at your volume, and does the impeadence match the receiver. Because you may be pushing the receiver too hard.

Fridge/Freezer working sometimes. Starts and stops

Need you to check the compressor to see if too hot to touch. If so unplug and don't leave it plugged in until we find the problem. This could be start capacitor, start relay, overload or a bad condenser or evaporator fan motor. Like to know he model number to help you better, Let me know, Sea Breeze

Receiver says power overload, turn system off

It probably needs soldering of the voltage regulators and/or output IC.
I think that model has an access panel on the bottom (it may need to be cut out then rotated and screwed back on when done).
If it doesn't have the panel the main circuit board needs to be taken out to access them.
The regulators and output IC are mounted on the main heat sink. a little soldering and it should be good as new.

SAAX7 Technics stereo receiver stops broadcasting after 20-30 min

Ron- The fan does not turn on when the receiver is first powered on, it will run when the amplifiers begin to run HOT, they are kinda controlled by a thermo switch, if the fan does not turn on usually the receiver will shut down and display a OVERLOAD message in the display panel. My advise is to keep the unit well ventailated with plenty of breathing space around the top vent closure, this will allow air flow when loud volume output is used. Also use the rated ohm speakers with the SA-AX7,

overload, usually means that is overloaded. i've had the receiver for about 4 or 5 years now and never had problems with it. It was sitting ontop on my tv for those 4 or 5 years, and i haver noticed it untill just recently, (when i bought a new tv and i had to get a stand for it, and i had to stick the receiver in it)that is runs very hot, very quickly; Maybe that is the problem you are having now, that the thins is older and maight be able to handle it as it id b4. Maybe you made some changes to your set up: new speakers, etc.
