However, there is something about "opening the pivot plate", it's Greek to me, but google it and see if you can't reset the brain in the printer and get it back to life without an expensive service call.
This error indicates in issue with the ink or ink loader. Open the top cover and inspect that the ink inside is not broken, also make sure you are using genuine xerox ink sticks. If this is true you can clear the error On the Control Panel, press the Down Arrow button to select Troubleshooting, press OK. Now press the Down Arrow button to select Service Tools, press OK. While pressing and holding down the Up Arrow button, press the Down Arrow button to display the Hidden Service Menu. Enter Diagnostics, Go to Function Menu and Clear ISC Fault. If the error re-occurs after doing all this you should replace the ink loader (part# 133K27771). Here is a video that shows you how to do that. Good luck, and thanks for using Fixya!

The inksticks are probably jammed in the slot. If you're using non-Xerox ink, an error reset is required. Since the non-Xerox ink sticks are not the right shape (since the shape is a registered trademark), they don't always trip the sensors when they come down the chute.
That is a fault in the process drive motor area.
It is the assembly that operates the maintenance kit movement.
You may simply have to reseat the maintenance kit.
The motor drive train may also be mistimed. If you have purchased that machine in the last year, there is a one year onsite warranty on that product. If so have your serial number ready and call 1-800-835-6100.
