No graphics on the screen

The laptop seems to boot but nothing appears on the screen.Though the CPU fan is on and the hard disk is spinning.Why don't I have any graphics appearing on the screen.

have you check the memory slot and see if you're RAM is ok. if you have 2 RAM modules try to unplung one. if the memory is ok then the only thing left is the CPU and there is nothing you can do about it, just to change it.

press F8 key while turning on the laptop it will give you the advanced boot option select safe mode from the menu.It will take you to the safe mode , then do a system restore to the previous date when it was working fine
