You need to install that driver from the Kington webpage. They'll have it.

If you need to install a driver for a thumbdrive, you might be able to get away with defining it as a standard "USB Mass Storage Device" in the drivers. Find the device in Device Manager then follow these steps.

Right click the device, select "Update Driver"
In the new window that pops up, select "Install from a list..." Click Next.
In the next page, select "Don't search, I will choose a driver to install" Click next.
In the Hardware Type Window: Select and double click "Show All Devices"
Click the Have Disk button
In the text box: type "c:\windows\system32\drivers\usbstor.sys". Click Ok. Click ok once more
Click next to proceed through the driver install.

This is one possible solution to get your thumb drive communicating.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I buy kingston 16gb data traveler usb im try to conact to my pc its not working and showing window not recognize that device.can i get help to solve the problem.thanks

Hello,
Try re-inserting it a few times.
If not recognised, click for troubleshooting and see driver details. If it says that device drivers either not required or not installed, it means the device drivers required to make the data traveller function are not installed in it.
This is a manufacturing defect.
You can get a replacement for free from your dealer.

Tell me what happens.
I am following up.

Regards.

You don't any driver of the USB drives on XP. The drivers are built-in with the OS. If the USB stick does not work than that might be another problem. Read my previous entries, http://www.fixya.com/support/t4094662-usb_key_problem and http://www.fixya.com/support/t4202542-when_plug_in_pc_show_pendrive might be helpful.
