Try dusting out the inside, or maybe using a vaccum hose to get all the dust out.

Problem with a colour display on Hisense tv

If your picures are all purple it means that the green colour is missing. TV colour is made up by mixing Red, Green & Blue. Removing Green leaving Red & Blue makes purple. Study the green colour circuit for a fault and confirm that the green gun inside the tube is working.

Colour on tv is all purples and greens

Was the tv dropped?--try manual de-gaussing.If that does not

work, the problem may be the shadow mask inside CRT or the

yoke is loose and mis-adjusted on the neck of CRT.

Hi. If you leave your tv in standby try switching it off properly at tv switch leave a few hrs then switch on. Have you got hifi speakers or anything that is magnetic near tv if yes move it away from set switch set off wait a few hrs then switch on. Or if the above has not sorted problem the set has a fault with the degause circuit. Its not to bad to repair but you will need to use soldering iron.
