Question about Sony Grand WEGA KDF-42WE655 42" Rear Projection HDTV
I have a Sony HD TV KDF-E42A10 #lcd FD Trinitron. I have noticed that the picture is not going all the way across the screen and there is a thin green line running vertically along the right edge of the picture.
If its a LCD projection TV (such as Sony Wega, Hitachi, Epson, Philips,
and some Panasonic, some Mitsubishi), and the green image is in the whole
screen or just one part as a blob or a line. Is most probably that one of your
LCD Color Filters is damaged (burned out or starting to get busted), I don’t
know if you can just replace the color filter, I believe you need to
change the whole light engine system or the optical block. There are some
places around, I found some on ebay but you should definitely try on
discountdashmerchantdotcom their price range $260.00 - $330.00
