Maybe because Winfax is putting 44(UK code)and then 1623(area code without the 0) at the beginning of the required fax number and therefore failing. We can see this in the Message Manager send log.
This has only just happened after many months with no problems. What has happened? We cannot work out why this is happening and what the problem is.

I learned that my CA software was not operating properly because I still have Norton anti-virus on my system. CA support told me to uninstall Norton and reinstall CA. I downloaded the Norton removal tool but was unable to start the uninstall because I apparently still have leftover files on my system from an aborted install of winfax pro. The Norton removal tool instructed me to uninstall winfax pro before proceeding, but all attempts to do so have failed. I downloaded symclean from norton, but it failed to remove it. I downloaded ccleaner, but it failed also. I even removed all winfax files and data from the registry and temp file, but the norton removal tool continue to tell me to remove winfax pro. I called norton tech support, but they no longer support winfax. So I'm stuck.
