Question about Kenmore 24 in. 15079 Built-in Dishwasher
I have a Kenmore Dishwasher Model 665 about 8 years old. After the wash is done, the water still remains at the bottom of the machine. It goes thru' the whole cycle without shwoing any problems, but at the end water remains. Cleaning is not neceeasrily great. I tried just draining the water but the water does not drain.
Is ther an issue with the drain valve?? Do I need to replace it and if so how? What m,ight be the cost I am looking at? Is it worth it it repair it than replace??
The drain pump is fairly easy to replace. it locks into place beside the sump and motor. push tab in and rotate pump to pull out. you will lose water so have a towel handy. inspect drain hose for restrictions or kinks.
