Dimension 8250, No Ethernett, Sound card or PCI Input

Bear in mind that your antique machine dates back to 2003. If you are installing hardware that is newer than your OS, there is a strong chance that drivers do not exist for it.

Check whether the HDD is visible from the BIOS startup menu! If it is then you are looking at XP driver issues - or hardware configuration. I assume that the drive in question is a secondary drive? If so, the old ATA 66/100 IDE interface on these machines is fussy about the drives and each drive may have to be setup with a different ID 0/1 using jumpers on the drives. It is easy to overlook this part of the setup!

Here's an article describing how to do this:

I here a loud sound comming from my playstation 3 system. I kind of sounds like its vribrating but I can not be sure. help please.

have you dropped or bumped it lately? it sounds like your harddrive is off its axis and bent slightly, if its truly bothering you you should be able to replace the harddrive, if not i would back all your files up (if you have playstation plus you can have all your saved data stored in the cloud so even if your hard drive dies you will keep your saved games), there may not be anything to worry about, it can continue working happily for years to come, but there is the risk the harddrive will die on you and need to be replaced.

My harddrive its make a soung bip bip countinuing and didnt detected its sound come out from my harddrive not from my mainboard i've tried to replace to another computer...and there is the same trouble.

Your hard disk is bad. You will need to purchase a replacement one. If you need the data off of that disk contact a data recovery company to get the data back.

Hello, my hitachi travelstar harddrive doesn't

Unfortunately when hard drives get to this state they are usually toast and if working at all on their last leg. You may be able to recover some of your data using a professional service otherwise a new hard drive is in order.

Hitachi's Travelstar hard drives are excellent and I recommend the following replacements:

For SATA (Serial ATA interface):

Hope this helps and let me know if you need further assistance..

Tower is making clicking noise and a reeving sound but everything is loading and running ok

Please take this time to back up all your data. This could be a sign your Harddrive is failing if it is not your harddrive it could be a fan. You need a tech to look at your system right away to prevent failure. Fans are cheap to replace but if they fail you can lose your entire computer. If its your harddrive your looking at 2-3 hours labor and hardrive replacement. Generally it is worth doing.
Techs are waiting to help you.

Not making a clicking noise, but actually playing a really wierd sound

The tones in repetition sound could be a defective harddrive. I've had that happen once on an internal harddrive...
