How do eject disc from my mac os x

Every Mac that has an optical drive has an eject key on the keyboard. Pressing the eject key will eject a CD or DVD.

The eject key has this icon on it: ?

You can also right-click on the disk icon, then choose "Eject" from the pop-up menu.

You can also click once on the disk icon, then choose "Eject" from the File menu.

You can also drag the icon to the Trash icon in the dock.

The eject key will only eject CDs and DVDs, but all of the other methods described above will also unmount other media types, like a hard drive or flash drive connected via USB, FireWire, or Thunderbolt.

Macbook A1181 black take the Snow Leopard DVD but wont boot from it. Ejecting it. (the drive is working) and pressing C dont force it to boot from the DVD.

When you start up your computer, hold down the option key. This will bring up the bootable devices menu. Depending on wether or not you have an Operating System installed, you should see either 1 or more icons. Click on the one with the CD icon that should be labeled "Snow Leopard". Once you have clicked on the icon, click the arrow beneath it and your Mac will boot off the OS CD.

I have a Mac w/Snow Leopard. I cannot get to hp.com\support to download drivers for an Office Jet 7780. The Mac recognizes it as a printer but not as a scanner.

As from this link , the drivers for most HP printers are already built-in to Snow Leopard. Thus, they didn't recommend reinstalling driver from your HP printer CD. Here are some excerpts regarding scanning feature on Snow Leopard from the link: Scanning: The Scanning interface is now built into Snow Leopard and supported with the Apple Image Capture application. Instructions follow. NOTE: HP Scan Pro software (from Mac OS X 10.4, 10.5) is not supported in Snow Leopard. The HP icon for HP Device Manager still in the dock after upgrade is not functional and should be removed. NOTE: Scan support from pushing the Scan button on the printer is not supported with this version of the scan interface built into Snow Leopard. Scan functionality is supported by scanning directly from the computer.
** there are methods on how you can scan on Snow Leopard from the link that I've given above. But I'll paste here Method 3:

Method three: Scan from Print & Fax > Printer browser
  1. From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences .
  2. Click Print & Fax .
  3. In the list of printers on the left side of the dialog, select the HP All-in-One to view the options in the Print & Fax window.
  4. Click the Scan tab, and then click Open Scanner . The Printer Browser window appears.
  5. Click the Scan icon at top right of the toolbar to launch scanning. The scan interface opens. Click Show Details to view settings and options.
Important Gotcha: If the Scan or Print icons do not appear in the Printer Browser window toolbar, you need to delete the current HP printer queue and add a new one, as follows:
  1. Close the Printer Browser window to return to the Print & Fax preference pane. Or, go directly to the System Preferences > Print & Fax pane.
  2. Select your HP printer in the list on the left.
  3. Click the - sign at the bottom of the list to delete the product from the list.
  4. Click the + sign at the bottom of the list to add the product back to the list.
  5. Select your HP printer, and then click Add to create a new print queue. The next time you open thePrinter Browser window, the Print and Scan icons should appear in the toolbar, providing access to Image Capture.

Flash player don't work?! please help.

Sorry, but your question is confusing: Flash Player is an Adobe product which allows online video streaming. Your DSC-V1 is just a camera and neither has nor needs Flash Player.

Perhaps you're confusing it with the camera flash used to provide light when taking photos? If the flash is set to "on" it should usually pop up and fire except when the camera is set to certain scene modes (see below). The other flash settings are "off" (no lightning flash icon) and "slow" (the letters SL appear next to the lightning icon). The only other icon which can appear next to it to the left are the scene modes. These only appear when the mode selector dial is set to "SCN" and there are six of them: beach mode (palm tree and beach icon); snow mode (snowman icon); portrait mode (a pair of heads and shoulders icon); landscape mode (mountains in a picture frame icon); twilight portrait mode (crescent moon and a head and torso icon); and twilight mode (crescent moon icon). Of these, only the last one prevents the flash from firing even if switched on.

You can learn more about these by clicking this link to the Sony website which has a downloadable .pdf manual. The scene modes and what they do is explained on pages 63 & 64.

I hope that you've found my answer to be of use and in return ask only that you return the favour by rating my answer. If your problem remains unresolved then please explain clearly what you'd like to know in a comment and I'll try again: I've been using a DSC-V1 regularly since 2004 so there's not much about it which I'm unfamiliar with.
