Mouse Acting Strange

The surface it's sliding on can be a factor; if it's reflecting off of a glossy surface, that can cause it to skip or pause. If thre's a touchpad, turn it off to improve mouse performance.

Wireless Mouse

Have you changed the batteries recently?

Normal 0 Normal 0 If the mouse doesn't have a little door to open on the bottom, then try this. Just behind the Left and Right keys where your hand rests, apply firm pressure down on the cover and slide to the rear. Some mouse manufactures have used this type of access to replace the batteries.

If it’s a wireless GE mouse turn it on by pushing the button on the bottom and hold till the red light comes on. Assuming the computer is running, press the Blue light on the Receiver and then, press the button on the bottom of the mouse and it should start tracking on the monitor.
Hope this helps. Bud

New mouse, still has problems

Some mice eat batteries like they are nothing. I myself have a logitec wireless mouse and i must replace the batteries every two weeks. I would suggest getting another mouse.
