If you have to put oil in the engine, that would be an important assembly. They usually don't ship mowers with oil installed but oil is in different package for you to install.

I bought a Husqvqrna zero turn last year and I took the crate apart down to the base. I was able to lift the backend off to one side (with some help from my son) and then we lifted the front off to the same side. It was at that point that I found that there was a transmission release on the back of the mower that would have allowed me to roll it off the base. hope this helps.
