My motorola high speed modem flashes red, and stops every night at 8:30 pm

Hi Randy, sounds like there internet service is acting up on your or the modem is starting to go bad.

Call your internet provider and they will run tests around that time to see what happens on your end.

I used to have Time Warner Cable in my area and everynight after 6:00pm it would be as slow as can be all the time. They ran test after test and eventually there customer service got so bad I stopped using them.

You light should be green on your modem, see if there is a way they can get a tech out around the time that the light is red so they can see that symptom, then I can guarantee they will do something, my guess would be they need to change out the modem and check to make sure that there is no breaks in the wiring or even change out some wiring outside the house to be sure bad wiring isn't causing the slowdown.

FLASHING AMBER LINK IDICATOR LIGHT ON MY SB6121 MODEM


The SB6121 link light uses color to indicate the connection speed. Blinking means data transfer is taking place. Blue means that it's a 1000Base-T (High-speed Gigabit Ethernet). Amber means it's an older ethernet device. 100Base-T or 10Base-T Ethernet connection.

When plugged in no llights on modem motorola 2210-02


If there are no lights whatsoever illuminating when you have the modem plugged in to the electrical outlet, then this is going to indicate either a faulty power cord or a faulty modem. If you received this modem from your service provider, you may wish to contact them for assistance.

Will this work with Comcast broadband and Windows 7?


This modem will work with Comcast High Speed Internet.
You will have to contact Motorola for drivers for the Windows 7.

It does matter how fast your internet speed is,anything faster than 20meg,will need a Docsis 3.0 modem.

Only the power and ethernet lights come on


power it off completely for 5-10 min...and then try connecting the wire and check

My Motorola Sb5101 modem will not let me access the internet, the send light constantly flashes and i can't attain any internet connection.


If you have the following lights :
Power light - on
Receive light - flashing
Send light - flashing
Online light - off
PC/Activity - on
Standby - off
Then your Network Access is OFF - modem is successfuly registered but Network Access Control is disabled via DOCSIS configuration file.

Call your internet service provider....

Please remove the program of your router and re install it again and it will work..
