is it plugged into a switched outlet, or plugged into a wall outlet? if power to the plug is interrupted it may lose the input memory. would be a shame to think it did that by design.

What other audio/video outputs does the TV have? Does it have an HDMI port? If so, connect TV to your home theater using HDMI to HDMI.

I somehow managed to cause the screen to be stretched. not in tv mode but when using the blueray player. Any ideas??

you need to go into settings and change screen size or look for something on your remotre to change the screen

How are you hooking it up? To what kind of TV? Best connection for SC-BT100 is via HDMI out on SC-BT100 to HDMI in on TV, otherwise you aren't getting full HD output. Make sure your TV is set to correct input source.....
