Question about MyMusix PD-6030 MP3 Player

PD-6030 MP3 Voice recording distortion

I want to be able to record groups of singers and guitars singing together. Is it possible to adjust the record level to reduce/eliminate distortion?  Not looking for extreme quality just recordings I can use to practice with later.  Thanks

MyMusix's PD-6030:
Manual can be found at

EQ setting
Select from "Normal, Rock, Jazz, Pop, Classic, Bass" .
You can also select "Exit" to keep the original settings.
Menu Tree Diagram is on p.29

For "password" question - there is no password, the lock on the player has simply been engaged - slide it to the unlocked position. See manual for details.

Recorded voice files

Of course, first you need to transfer those recordings from your mp3 to your computer. Then open up whatever cd burning software you use, choose make audio cd, click add files and choose your recordings and burn. L8R

MP 3 player and voice recorder

The MyMusix PD 135-02 series has a firmware problem that in my case makes it completely freak out and stop working. The only thing that's worked for me is to re-install the firmware. The file is called PlayerUpdate.exe but I don't know where to download it anymore. I used to be on the MyMusix web site but now I can't find it. Good luck.
