Hello Joanne, the Sony CDP-C225, is a 5 CD audio player
To listen to your Sony CDP-C225, on your Toshiba 46sl412u, you have to connect the LR audio output of the Sony to the LR ColorStream® HD / VIDEO audio input on the back panel of the Toshiba, then turn on the equipment, charge the CD on the Sony and you put in the Toshiba the Video input and there you can listen to the music of your Sony
I send you the links to download the manuals of Sony and Toshiba
I hope you can interconnect the equipment and enjoy the music

Those look like dead pixels. If there has been any impact to the screens surface recently, you can attribute them to that. If you want it fixed, is suggest that you'd be better off getting a new screen.

You hv bad capacetor on power board. Just open back of your tv and you will see couple capcetor swelen. They are only couple of dollar each. You just need to know to soder them
Hello You are talking about the Closed Caption function On problem I assumes. If the remote control to your tV has a "CC" button on it, press it once to eliminate it.
Power options is most likely where you need to look to fix this. Go to the Control Panel and search for Power Options then change plan settings.
On a laptop, you will see that there are different options when you are plugged in versus running on battery.
Check your settings for blanking the screen when you are plugged in, that's probably where you will find the problem, set it for at least an hour before it blanks the screen.
