Hi Kayla...I have a granddaughter (whom I adore) named Kayla...:). I'm not sure if you found your problem yet, but it sounds like it has something to do with your remote control. If you give me some more information, I might be able to help you better. However, if you're able to turn the fan on and off without the remote control - does that solve your problem. Otherwise, read in your manual (if you got one, or were given this) to see if they have a troubleshooting guide. At least its rotating, cause I usually hear about them when they stop rotating...:) Best of luck, and I hope you found your solution already - otherwise, I'll be more than willing to help you through the process. Take care...Jim

remove the battery from the remote for one day. See if it stays off. If it does replace the remote
Well, I hear nothing but negative things about the Holmes products. Everyone says they quit working after 3-4 months. Can anyone say SUE THE MANUFACTURERS FOR SELLING DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS AND DEFRAUDING THE PUBLIC????? I do believe we have class action case here.
