Why my canon ipmax 1300 printer always appear low...

posted by diazphi on Nov 05, 2007

I have cannon IPMax 1300, I tried to refilled my cartridge at the near ink station to save money but I found out that my printer will always alert low ink. What should I do enable the printer will appear at a normal status. I do believed that the cartridged was fulled after I refilled.

Hope anybody know this problem. I will rate your solution if proven to be useful.

Thank you.

Philip

First understand the printer does not 'Read' the cartridge.
It cannot- It says low ink based on the number of sheets passed through the machine.
You need to figure our how to 'Reset' the counters.
Try www.fixyourownprinter.com- entr you camera make model
see what you get

You need to examine the Fixyuorownp irnter site more closeley
The repair Kit reference is an Advert.
Look for a Window where you can enter your printer make and model this then will lead to a forum page where the queston can be put.
If the cartridge has a chip fitted ,this needs to be zeroed.
There are devices to do this
Do a google for here is one such

Fix yourownprinter does rate this problem
In the field type you printer make and model number and persevere with your search.
Also get onto Canon support.
You do not of course tell them you are using third party inks
Simply relate the problem.
