Replacing LCD screen on SE w580i

I need to replace the screen on my w580i.
Does anyone know how to dismantle this type of handset?

    I also need information about how to open this "slider" model of phone in order to replace the lcd screen.

More than likely you will need to replace the LCD screen. This is the start of the screen going bad. If you have it under warranty still, try to get it replaced.

If not, a new LCD screen runs about 15 dollars shipped from ebay2.gif.

More than likely you will need to replace the LCD screen. I have seen it happen to people carrying it in the pocket.

A new LCD screen runs about 15 dollars shipped from ebay2.gif.

My Sony Ericsson W580 just shows a white sceen an i cant go to anything else
More than likely you will need to replace the display screen but before you do take the screen out and reseat the LCD connector. This will sometimes fix a white screen.

If not, a new LCD screen runs about 15 dollars shipped from eBay and is pretty easy to replace.
