Problem With Internet Connection

Hello Kevin - I am assuming you are trying to connect your PC Laptop to your wireless internet connection at home. The wireless internet router has a password that is set there. You mentioned a pin No. and 3g so if I have assumed wrong, please add more info. to your problem. Thanks.

Ok that is pretty simple. You can search for connectify version 3.3 or lower on internet and install it on your computer. In sharing you can use your active internet connection(Datacard as you have it). Then finally start your hotspot(wifi access point) here you can turn on your phone's wifi and get connected to the same.

Samsung phones have a hidden settings screen at the top of the screen on the normal screen
pull down the top of the screen by placing finger at top of screen and swipe down
and expand the hidden settings you will than see wi-fi , location, sound,screen rotation, blue tooth, put finger on right top of screen and swipe left you then should see
Mobile Data at left top of screen
put finger on mobile data and it should turn on mobile data

right click in the bottom toolbar select taskmanager processes you should see all of your internet connections running
the one you dont want or need running select end now
or click in the internet icon in toolbar this should open all of available connections click on open up network sharing look for local area connection the one you dont want running disable

1.Turn on your local Wifi either home or how so its temporaily disabled the 'E' Edge connection provided by your carrier provider
2.After the Wifi is connected
3.Open safari browser on your iphone
4.Type in the address bar www.iphonenodata.com
5.Scroll down to the end until you see a Disable EDGE/3G
6.Click on Disable EDGE/3G
7.You'll see a popup asking you to install a Profile
8.Install the profile and after the installation is done
9.Restart the iphone
10.Turn off the Wifi
11.Wait for 'E' to appear on the statusbar (Edge)
12.Try surfing the internet
13.If you get an error saying "Could not activate cellular data network"
14.You have successfully disabled the edge it will longer take your money if the phone is idle

Do you mean the slot?
Is it the cable that goes into the LAN port?
If so you can use a LAN PCMCIA card and connect the LAN cable into this card.
OR
You can connect to the Internet using a USB 3G adapter which uses the cell phone network with a cell phone provider.

Purchase a USB to PCMCIA Convertor Hardware and you will be able to use your old PCMCIA Data Card in your new Laptop.

Moto q9 phones don't havea the capability to use 3G internet yet. A software update will be released soon. Contact your service provider for details on when they will be releasing their update.

u can do that with IP routing or with default gateway. Try to give one default route for destination.

You arent gonna get a router to run off of a usb connection card linksys does make a router for PCMCIA cards called the WRT54G3G what you can do with your usb connection card though is to install it on one computer and then use ICS (internet conection sharing) to share between the two computers.
