On the status bar I have a triangle with an explanation point. What is this?

hi if its the status of your internet connection or any other item this means that the LAN crad or something else is in error you will need to reinstall your LAN driver with the utilities cd that came with your pc if that doesnt work try this clik on start then right clik on computer or my computer and then select manage on the menu that comes up if its vista clik ok on next screen wait a min for it to load then select device manager on left side of screen then put arrow on the small plus sign(+) on left of network adapters then a menu will drop down then right clik on the item that drops down usually its ethernet connection and then uninstall then right clik again when finished and select install if it still hasnt worked try right cliking again and update driver if that doesnt work right clik again and select properties on the next wndow that come up select driver on the top then select roll back driver you might have a corrupt update i had the same problem and that worked if you installed any new item or drivers remove them first and go to the item manafacturer site and download drivers there hope this helps make sure to back up your files incase of crash which shouldnt happen good luck

No sound

Try this:
Right clik My Computer Icon on your desktop, clik properties, then Click Hardware tab then clik Device Manager Button then try to see the sound driver is properly installed on your PC. See it if there's a "?" color yellow icon for the device not installed on your PC. If you can see it then you must install the sound driver of your laptop. Right clik it then chose Update Driver on the pop-up menu besure that you have driver disc inserted in you CD ROM then follow the instruction that comes out to you desktop.
