Ive had my phone for nearly a year and for some reason all of a sudden I cannot take more than 3 pictures. Its telling me that I have no memory and to delete some files - which I initially did I deleted all pictures, videos and freed up other space I didnt need and yet I have even less memory now.
I used to be able to store over 50 pictures and now ive got 3 there and it wont allow me to take any more. Its driving me inasne!!!! help.
Mine stopped taking pictures and showed a generic partrait icon where my new photos should be (in camera album). This was after I removed my removable disk the day before and not powering down the phone before i put it back in. Hope this helps.

Hi chris red420 you may not have any memory left on your phone either. This could be another reason. How many pictures and videos do you have on your phone. If you go into the tools &settings menu. Next you scroll down to the memory settings. Next you go phone memory. Hit the memory usages next you will see how much memory you have left on the phone. You will see the total memory. IF you have less than 2or 3 mb the messages will not work. hope this helps
This is an easy fix, all you need to do is to make sure the files you are sending to the phone is not larger that 7mb, because the phones memory size is just 7mb. Go to multimedia, select the sound, picture or video, select option and select move, then you move the files to the memory card
Files do not get transferred to the memory card directly, the phone first receives it, then you move the files to the memory card. If you already have a file(sound, picture or videos) on the phone memory, it will keep saying your memory is full.
It happened to me also on my lg-ke850, i had 512mb on my phone, but each time i try to receive a file, it keeps saying the memory is full, so i tried that and it worked for me, so i trust it will work for you too.
Hope this helped.
hi, to free up some memory you need to do the following. 1, delete all messages in inbox, outbox, sent, drafts. 2, delete any pictures you dont need 3, delete any ring tones you dont use, most people never use the ones you get free with the phone so deleting these will free up loads of memory.
the reason your phone says low memory is because the memory card isnt counted in this low mem warning so you can transfer stuff to the memory card to free up memory on the phone.
1)No bluetooth 2)Memory card ,not the defacto standard micro SD ,itz specific for Sony Ericson phones. 3)Camera,a VGA one and also no cover for the lens, after two-three years you face a lot of tweaks with the pictures you have taken
May be your cell have virus or your phone operating system is corrupt.
Simply format your memory card and cell and problem still continues than go to nokia care they will reinstall your phone operating system.
Happened to my n73 too. Format the phone to get rid of junk files stuck in the memory as well as viruses.
turn phone off.
hold the following keys WHILE its turning back on: (3 + * + green call key)
do not let go until it asks you about your location
phone will gain 44mb back and go back to normal. Phone will respond a
lot faster too, as if it were new. Viruses would be deleted as well as
other junk stuffed inside.
have anything stored on the phone memory that you woudn't want to
delete, such as pictures, videos, or whatever, back it up to your
memory card or computer. The format process deletes all stored memory
on the phone, but not the memory card.
