Use Safari and go to www.skype.com. From there hit sign in. There are two links- one for "I forgot my password" and one for "I forgot my username". Use these to figure them out and then enter them into the app once you have them again.

You can go to the skype website www.skype.com and then select the forgot password option which would use your email id to send you the reset link.

Welcome to Fixya. If you forgot your password with skype you have an option to reset it. all you need to do is to provide the email address that you've registered with skype and skype will send you the password.

You can retrieve a forgotten password/recreate a new password at Skype.com

Just visit the following link: https://login.skype.com/account/login-form?intcmp=sign-in&return_url=https%3A%2F%2Fsecure.skype.com%2Faccount%2Flogin

and then select 'Forgotten your password?' underneath the password field. Follow the on-screen instructions and you'll be on your way to using Skype once again.

Hi saleemsahmed. You can have a new password sent to you by going skype login page.

Then click "Forgotten you password?"

You will be asked then to type in the email address you used when you registered with Skype. Then they'll email a code to that email address so you can access your skype account again.

To recover your Skype password, follow these steps:
1. Goto http://www.skype.com and click on Sign in button at the top right corner.
2. Now click on Forgotten your password? button.
3. A password recovery window appears and will ask for your email address & after that it'll send your new password on your email account.

From the Skype menu, choose sign out.
From the Welcome to Skype screen enter your skype name.
Click Forgot your password?
When Skype returns to normal operation the site will respond.

If you have forgotten your password. You need to click "forgot the password" under the password text field in the skype login window. They will ask for the email. Provide the email that you have already provided when registering with skype ID. Once you have provided the RIGHT email. They will send a temporary code on the provided email and using that code, you can set your new password.
