My printer goes through the motion of printing but the paper comes out blank. I've an hp deskjet d2360 and there is ink in it

Possibility cartridge print head dry.

Solution 1:
Do a clean process
cartridge automatically. Press START - Control Panel - Printers and Faxes - HP Deskjet d2360 right click and select Printing Preferences - Select the Color tab - select Printer Services - select Clean cartridge, wait for the cleaning process is completed - Perform Test print. If the print test results, has good graphics, press Finish. If the graph is not clear or drop out, repeat the cleaning process once again.

Solution 2:
1. Open the cover printer, cartridges will move to the middle position.
2. Remove the cartridge (be careful, do not touch the element cartridges or print head by hand), then stick the tip cartridge (print head) to clean water
3. Then, attach the print head to a tissue paper. If there is a tissue paper used in ink (black cartridges, black block lines, and color cartridges, three color red yellow blue lines), means the flow of ink to the print head is normal. If the
tissue paper no trace of ink, attach back into the water, repeat the above process.
4. After process is complete no.3, clean the cartridges with a tissue paper (careful, do not touch the element cartridges or print head by hand, because it will damage the cartridge). After cartridge clear of the water, insert the cartridges into printer.

My HP Deskjet D2360 won't print. Print jobs get stuck in queue.

Turn off and remove the ink cartridge from the printer and open the screws at the back side of the printer. you may have pieces of paper that might have got jammed before... remove those wastes and connect everything back...
It should work...

My hp d2360 is not working properly and i bought new cartridge but printer wasnt recognize the cartrige..

Please follow the steps below to install the Cartridge:

Install or replace the print cartridges
  1. Turn the printer on. The cartridge cradle will not move if the power is not on.
  2. Open the printer cover. Figure 1: Printer cover openc00658567.gif
  3. Wait until the print cartridge cradle moves to the center of the printer and is idle and quiet.
  4. If you are replacing a print cartridge, press down on the print cartridge to be replaced, and then slide it out of the print cartridge cradle. If you are installing print cartridges for the first time, go to the next step.
NOTE: HP recommends using a print cartridge protector to store an opened print cartridge for later use. Figure 2: Print cartridge being inserted into a print cartridge protectorc00658568.gif
  5. Remove the new print cartridge from its packaging and carefully remove the plastic tape. Hold the print cartridge so that the copper strips are on the bottom and facing toward the printer. Figure 3: Removing the protective tapec00658569.gif
CAUTION: Do not touch the print cartridge ink nozzles or copper contacts. Touching these parts will result in clogs, ink failure, and bad electrical connections. Do not remove the copper strips. They are required electrical contacts. Figure 4: Print cartridge facing upc00658570.gif 1 - Ink nozzles 2 - Copper contacts
  6. Slide the print cartridge at a slight upward angle into the cradle until the cartridge snaps into place. Figure 5: Installing the print cartridgec00658571.gif
  7. Repeat steps 3-4 for the remaining print cartridge.
  8. Close the printer cover. The printer automatically prints a calibration page.

My D2360 has worked perfectly for the last 3 years and then all of a sudden it has stopped. It prints but incredibly slowly (like about 5-10mins to one side with used to take less than 1minute).. I tried...

It might be that the tsr is out on the cartridge. The tsr lets the printer read how hot the print head is and adjusts printing speed if necessary. I would think replacing the cartridge would fix the problem.

Hp deskjet d2360

Hi

Yes the HP Deskjet D2360 will print pics. If you want to print photo quality, make sure your ink cartridges are in good shape and obtain photo quality paper.

You can actually print pictures on almost all printer paper but if you want a good result, I would suggest you look online for inkjet photo A4 photo paper.

Paper can be obtained in a number of finishes. For example Glossy, Silk, Matt and so on. If you just want reasonable quality for a school project or something, then a good quality non photo paper may be good enough for you.

Paper also comes in different thickness or weights. This is determined by the paper's GSM. For example: 80gsm is normal photocopier paper. A good quality photo paper would be 140gsm or 160gsm. When looking for paper online you'll see the GSM shown. It really is your personal choice. There are heaps of suppliers on the internet. Amazon do a good range.

You can also set your printer for various levels of quality. A rule of thumb is, the bettter the quality, the more ink you will use.

If you want to find out more about your printer, visit http.www.hp.com then look for your particular model.

Hope this helps.

Printer prints in color but has gaps

Have you tried a new colour cartridge? This is a classic sign that the cartridge may be low on ink. When printing text, assuming you are printing black, it is likely that the black cart is doing most of the work so the gaps are insignificant. You could try printing text in several different colours. If the colour cartridge is low, you'll find that some colours may be ok but others may have gaps.

Best to try a new cart if you have one.
