Question about Nokia 7500 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

My nokia 7500 ran out of charge and switched off. I have been trying to recharge it and switch it on but it is not switching on. When the charger is inserted it shows the charging sign, but I'm not able to switch on the phone. After a minute or so, the light on the screen goes off but it shows its charging in the background. Although I have kept it charging for quite a while, it doesn't seem to have charged and it isn't switching on. What do I do?

Check if the battery is alrite, you can get it checked by a technician for free using a multimeter, If its dead you need to replace it.

I m not able to connect my BH 208 headset to nokia E71 set

Make sure that the headset is properly charged before following the instructions below. Please follow the detailed instructions in the correct manner to successfully pair your Nokia E71 with the BH-208 Headset.
Charge the battery

The headset has an internal, non removable, rechargeable battery.Do not attempt to remove the battery from the device, as you may damage the device.
1. Connect the charger to a wall outlet.
2. Connect the charger cable to the charger connector. The red indicator light is on while charging.
It may take a while before charging
Switch the headset on or off
To switch on, press and hold the power key until the headset beeps and the green indicator light is displayed. To switch off, press and hold the power key until the headset beeps and the red indicator light is displayed briefly.
Pairing the headset
1. Ensure that your phone is switched on and the headset is switched off.
2. Press and hold the power key until the green indicator light starts to flash quickly.
3. Activate the Bluetooth feature on the phone, and set the phone to search for Bluetooth devices.
4. Select the headset from the list of found devices.
5. Enter the passcode 0000 to pair and connect the headset to your phone. In some phones you may need to make the connection separately after pairing. You only need to pair the headset with your phone once.
If the pairing is successful, the headset beeps and appears in the phone menu where you can view the currently paired Bluetooth devices. The headset is now ready for use.
Hope you are satisfied with my solution.Your valuable feedback would be appreciated. Thanks for choosing Fixya.

NOT SWITCHING ON

1. Try using batteries that are charged in a "different" charger.  Rechargeable batteries designed for cameras are interchangeable as long as they are the same "type" (ie. AA, AAA,etc)

2. I suspect it is the "charger" that is not working correctly.  Take it back if its covered under warentee.

3. If it isn't under warentee buy a new charger or buy re-chargeable batteries with a "high" power rating 1800 Ah plus that come with a charger.

4. If all this fails then you need to go back for replacement or repair depending on your warentee situation.  But try the number one first.

Nokia 3110 is switching off automatically, battery not charging

Sounds like the battery compartment leads are corroded.
When you open your phone and remove the battery, you should see three pins sticking out. Clean these pins with some q-tips and a tiny bit of vinegar. Also try scratching the surface of these pins with a knife or screwdriver.
Also consider that the charger might be faulty. try checking with another charger (there should be someone you know with a 3310-charger lying around)

My Nokia 2310 suddenly switched off. It didnt switch on again.
I tried putting the battery(of problem phone) into another cellphone, the battery works fine.
I tried to charge the problem phone, but is not showing any activity upon inserting the charger jack. Other phones are getting charged using the same charger.

Any idea of what the problem could be?

Fuji S9600

If you are using rechargeable batteries check the output of your charger, a 900mah charger will not charge 2800mah batteries to their capacity.
Stretch.

Nokia 3250 charging problem

it sounds like a problem with the charging port (where you actually plug the charger into your phone). unfortunately, you may have to replace the phone, as switching batteries or chargers wont solve the problem.
