On my r285 it comes up with communication error

all i did was change ink then it came up with comm errorthe ink hasnt charged checked leads lights are on nobodys home
if you can help thank you in advance

Turn off printer, restart komputer, connect usb, turn on printer. Check status monitor. Do replacement procedure using how to, unplu and plu again ink that not recognized.
