It's interesting that your toilet only leaks occasionally. Mine is leaking constantly, especially when someone runs another toilet in the house. I'm worried that the leaking is going to damage the house, so I'm going to call plumbing services to see if they can fix it quickly. I bet a plumber would be a help to you too. http://www.5starphc.com/plumbing

Check washer in float valve assembly. Could be overflow when toilet has not been used for some time.

Diagram uberhaus dual flush toilet leaking from bolts securing tank to the base

If the tank base has a good seal and when attached properly it will not leak. If the tank base has a line fracture or is pitted, it will leak. Inspect the base and the port the base sits in for any defects. Overnighting bolts can sometime cause damage to the seat and the only way to fix that is to use a silicone seal from a tube and apply lightly around the base, put the tank in place, tighten moderately, and let it sit unused for 24 hours until the seal cures.

Stylus cistern flushes by itself occasionaly

There is water leaking into the bowl. When the water level gets low enough, it calls for refilling the tank. Leaky valve or worn down washer in the cistern.

Water runs intermittently when toilet has sat idle

Hi aselbst...
Water running is an indicator that the "Ball ****" water inlet device is leaking by, there is no fix to this problem.
You must replace the ball **** to stop the water from leaking,
The ball **** is non-repairable.
You can try to adjust the float to a lower level, sometimes that will work to stop the leak

Flapper closes before toilet has completely flushed,

sometimes those flappers get leaks in them and water seeps into the inside and doesnt allow the flapper to stay afloat long enough for the water to empty. Just replace the flapper with a universal replacement flapper. Very easy and cheap fix.

Slow leak from tank into bowl. We can hear tank refilling once or twice a night.

I'm contractor for the last 17 years and this is the first time I have problems with the toilet tank installation , I bought four toilets, three of them had a leaking tank I thought that the place that had bolt did not have enough pressure and I put more pressure every five minutes but the toilets kept on leaking, I took the bolts out and I put plumbing putty in the top and the bottom and installed it again but it kept on leaking then i removed the putty and i put liquid teflon on the bolts and finally the leaking stoped. A small leak under the toilette, the seal has been changed many times and the toilette has even been replaced. Plumber says deffective toilettes? The leak seems to only happen when or after it is...

I've installed a lot of Toto toilets and have had few leaks but, not from the one piece toilets. It might be a problem toilet but, I would be sure the drain is not blocked causing a small back up after the flush.I have seen this happen many times. The toilet can be pulled and a 5gallon bucket of water can be poured down the drain to test this before replacing the toilet. also be sure water is not spraying on the top of the tank lid and leaking down the back of the toilet. If you flush the toilet with the lid off it should be easy to see if that the problem. hope this helps.

When you flush, sometimes it flushes fine, and sometimes the pressure isn't there at all and you need to reflush

Make sure the flapper is holding water in tank. if it is leaking, then when you go to flush there is not enough of water to flush. to check for leaking flapper, take a pack of kool-aid and dump it into tank of toilet. dont flush toilet. let set for 10-15 mins. if the flapper is leaking, the color of kool-aid will show up in bowl. hope this helps.

Toilet keeps filling tank every 10 minutes doesnt sound like its leaking no water around toilet or on floor still flushes and opertes..just water trickles on every 10 minutes or so to top up

If there is no water on the floor then the water is leaking down the main tank drain. Take off the tank lid, turn off the water supply to the toilet. Fllush as much water out as you can. Look at the main drain, sometimes if the flapper valve is connected with a chain, the chain can get caught between the flapper valve and the drain hole, the flapper valve is pliable so it tries to seal around the obstruction but can't always do it. Make sure there is obstruction, that the flapper valve is not out of shape or old and non-pliable and that it lines up with the drain hole and doesn't get "hung up" on anything.

Old crane toilet, leak between tank and toilet, need new gasket.

You might try looking in an hardware store, or a plumbing shop that has been in business for a long time. Sometimes they have parts that can't be found elsewhere. I would take the old seal with you, if you still have it.
