Question about LG Televison & Video
I have a big tv model LG mw-60sz12 it used to turn on for like few seconds and then turn off by itself now i checked the lamp , i dont know if am suppose to see a light or anything , i remove it then i put it back , now i can hear the speakers popped when i turn on the tv , but the screen never on and the buttom for the lamp is flashing green , is there any solution should i replace the lamp and wat if i replaced the lamp and the problem still the same

I am a service tech.
After reading about the this particular l.g. set i decided to llok into the optic engine and
have found that the blue polarizing lense is crook.
Believe it or not but the set will work fine if you remove this lense, alternatively if you remove the lense
and want to replace it. Go to ebay and type in hoya polarizing lense. Buy the 72 mm circular lense.
Then cut it to size and replace it .
Has fixed many of my customers sets.

press the menu button on the front panel
while holding button on panel press and hold the menu button on the remote control
service menu will appear and then keep pressing the menu button until you come to lamp hour resetting
press ok on remote
and now lamp hour is reset

if you heard a hissing or like static sound your board probably has a hole in it now. the board on the left side with the flyback fransformer. the hole is from where a prong has come loose an is arking over an it burns the board the ark is the sound you heard.

Verificar a filtro do lcd azul, antes da luz atingir o lcd. Há uma película prateada que solta desse filtro e a imagem passa a ficar azulada. Lg não fornece o filtro separadamente do conjunto óptico.
