1st a fall u must purchase original cartridge 2nd clean the head 3rd print the alignment page.

It is better if you use contact cleaner for head cleaner.

I assume from your description that the printer is going through the motions of printing but not putting ink from one or more colours to paper. If this is the case please it is likely that the printhead has developed a slight blockage or ceased to function.
-Print a nozzle check from your printers software. This will show you clearly which colours are not printing correctly. -Run 1-3 head cleans using the printers software with a nozzle check after each one. -If this doesn't resolve the issue it is possible you simply have a defective cartridge and I would recommend replacing it and trying again. -If this doesn't help or the problem is across all colours it is likely the printhead is severely dried or has reached the end of its life. So I would either take it to an Epson service center or if the printer is not worth the expense you just keep running head cleans (with 5-10 minute gaps between cleans).
There are very few things you can do, other than what you have aleady done.
I would recommend a decision on how much the unit cost and how long you have used the
printer vrs. what HP or a local authorized service center would charge to repair it.
If you have refilled ink cartridges, this is problem that can arise due to ink drying on the
print head as the black cartridge is use the most.
Hello, try to do deep head cleaning, few times. If this doesn't helps you need to remove the ink's and print head and bottom of print head ( where are ink nozzles ) few times press on wet cloath.
try the following 1.power on your peinter 2.while press and hold the power button ,open and close the top cover times.
printer pick the paper and print the test page and alignment pattern for black and color. if any of the black or color alignment pattern is not print ,then u have to change the cartridge accordingly.
Go to Control Panel/Printers. Right click on your printer's name, and hit Print Test Page. If printer prints a page out, then the problem is likely with the software you're using to print - make sure you have selected the right printer in the dropdown. If the printer's name doesn't show in the Printers folder of Control Panel, the driver for it has not been installed. Do so and try again.
