How do i change the color of riso drUm from red to burgundy?

All you really have to do is put in the ink color you want and run a bunch of prints. Going from a light to dark color like black is fast--like about 3000 prints. Black to light color is going to be a lot more prints. Best is to print something with heavy ink. the more ink you put out the fast it will change color.

How to determimne which ink cartridge has run out ?

If your print jobs are colorless or color poor you need to replace the color cartridge, if your jobs look fairly normal but the printer says to change the ink. You are out of Black (because the printer can make black using all the colors.) However, you can usually lift the cartridge and feel the difference in weight. If both are so light they feel empty you are better off replacing both. Because of the way the HP printers print, unless you specifically told the printer to print black and white, two cartridges installed at the same time will probably deplete equally .

I have brought a replacement cartridge (black) for the Epson D92 stylus printer I folowed the usuel steps and sucsesfully printed 4 or 5 b&w pages now the printer does not seem to except the cartridge...

This may or may not work on your model

"Press and hold the paper feed, paper switch and the power switch.

Once the power light and paper light flashes twice and the other lights are flashing release the paper feed and paper switch "and then press the paper feed switch".

The power, paper and ink lights will flash twice. At this point the protection counter has been reset."

The Protection Counter referred to above prevents you from printing once the printed pages counter reaches a predetermined threshold.

If this doesn't work, let me know.
