Even without the software your camera should be detected by your computer.

DId you press the transfer button on the dock and made sure you have a green light flashing?

If not, you can try connecting the camera directly to the computer and turn the camera on. Make sure that you get a green blinking light on the camera.

Go to applications and select image capture application in case it does not come up automatically.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

Problem with usb connection. kodak easyshare m753 HELP...

Possible solutions:
Remember you need to turn the camera on when transferring.
Try a different USB outlet
Try a different cable
Try a different computer.

If all fails please contact KODAK in order to arrange a repair or order a new cable. Remember your USB cable is covered under the same warranty as your camera, so remember your serial number when calling:

How to charge my kodak easy chare m753 digital camra

You can plug the USB cable into your PC and charge it like that. There should have also been a black poweradapter module that came with the camera too. You can plug the USB cable into this box, and the box plugs into a 110v wall socket.

I pushed my USB cable from my Easyshare Kodak camera, into another camera, now my camera wont load pictures onto my PC Can this be fixed by buying a new USB Cable?

That's the simplest and cheapest method of finding out. USB cables are cheap; try another. Hopefully you didn't transfer the damage from the USB cable back into your Kodak. If the USB cable looks damaged, then more than likely that is your problem.

If your memory card in the Kodak can be removed (and the pictures are on it) you can also get an inexpensive card reader (Targus, ~$12 at Walmart) to transfer your images to your PC.

Can not charge my kodak i think its my usb cable.

If trying to charge using USB through a computer, you have to have the computer on, booted up, and running! The only other thing to try if that is not the problem is to replace the USB line you use, checking plug ends for damage. Good Luck!
