Question about Garden
I have a Poulan 14 inch chainsaw, relatively new... only been through one chain, and sharpened a few times. It has always oiled the chain thoroughly -- almost too much. However, after the last use, I removed the bar and thoroughly cleaned the saw, and reassembled. No use for a few months, but when I did use it the next time, the chain was getting almost no oil. [I had just topped off the oil resevoir.] There was some oil getting out, but very little. Any ideas why? [I checked the line coming out from the oil supply, and it appears fine, as do the two oil holes in the bar.]
THE FIRST THING I WOULD CHECK IS THE BREATHER IT HAS TO LET AIR IN SOMEWHERE AS THE OIL FLOWS OUT IT MAY BE CLOGGED TRY RUNNING THE SAW WITH THE OIL CAP OF DONT DO ANY CUTTING JUST RUNSEE IF IT OILS THEN IF NOT MOST SAWS HAVE A OIL FLOW ADJUSTMENT SCREW TAKE THE BAR OFF AND LOOK AROUND WERE THE OIL COMES OUT THE ONLY OTHER THING IT MAY BE IS A CLOG IN THE LINE
