All you need to know is the e-mail address you used to open your Amazon account and your password. If you can't access your Amazon account give them a call and they should be able to help. You can always open a new account if there isn't a good reason to connect to your old on e.g. prime or pre existing kindle library.
You should be able to just have an Amazon account? If you have to use Google play store for amazon app, that doesn't mean you have to also have a G+ account, and you definitely don't need a facebook account
Go to amazon.com and log into your account. At the top page open the account window and select "manage your devices". From there look for your magazine and choose to cancel it.
You do not have to cancel your account.
Go to My Account and scroll down the screen a bit until you see 'Settings' in brown text on the left. Looking immediately to the right now, select (in blue text) 'Change Account Settings' (click on that). On the page that appears at the top is a box which offers the option to change about 4 things - one is 'E-mail' - click on the Edit button for that item, and follow instructions.
If you must close your account Amazon say "To close your account, please contact us to request that your account be closed."
You are SHARING your Amazon account so that it currently sees your 2 Kindle devices and his Fire.
This is great if you want to share books and stuff.
However, it does mean that it will only relate to YOUR Amazon account details i.e. YOUR email address and therefore YOUR Facebook, Twitter and all the rest.
If he wants his own setup then he will have to de-register his fire from YOUR Amazon account and register it to his Amazon account.
