Removal of virus for free

You can install free AVG anti-virus. It's one of the best anti-virus that I have used. Even its FREE VERSION can get rid of viruses. Be reminded though that there are some viruses that can't be removed with free anti-virus and you might need to purchase the full version or have your computer reinstalled and install a free or full version of anti-virus.

By the way, if I were you, I would install RadarSync in that computer after fixing it. It's a technician's software which can optimize your computer's performance. I have been using it together with a good anti-virus. Believe me, they work good together.

The desktop is disappearing, the computer shuts down by itself and the MS Removal Tool has detected malicious programs (2), viruses (26), adware(2) etc. over all, it would be 38 threats, and almost all...

Press F8 during boot up and then select boot into Windows Safe mode. You will need to install a resputible anti virus program.

1. Boot into safe mode.
2. See my tip on the best free anti virus software here:
3. Choose one.
4. Install it.
5. Run a full scan of your system (this may take a while depending on the size of your hard drive, free space and fragmentation of files).
6. Delete all files that are infected.

If your PC is too far gone then you may have to format your hard drive and reinstall Windows.

How delete computar vairous

You need to have a reliable anti-virus software installed and run a scan then tell the software to remove the virus. If you do not have an anti-virus program installed you can find an open source anti-virus program at This is a very good and free anti-virus program. Download it, install it, it will automatically update its virus database, then open it, go to the options and click on the option to "remove" malware THEN run the scan and it will clean your computer.

Fixing a corrupted yahoo messenger.exe

·If you have a corrupt file in your Yahoo! Messenger directory.

To fix the problem, you must manually delete the "Messenger" directory on your C: drive (default), then reinstall the Yahoo! Messenger application.

All archives will be deleted if they are not copied. If you have a Flash drive copy it. If none, copy them like this:

CLOSE Yahoo! Messenger (if it is currently running).

Go to your Desktop and double-click "My Computer."

Select the "C:" drive.

Go to: C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Profiles

Your "Profiles" folder contains your complete Message Archive. Copy it to the a different folder on your computer and RENAME IT AND save..

Now you can DELETE the Yahoo Messenger by deleting the directory:

CLOSE the Yahoo! Messenger application if you currently have it running. Make sure all instances of Internet Explorer are CLOSED.

Go to your desktop and double-click "My Computer."

Click the "C:" drive.

Go to C:\Program Files\Yahoo!

Highlight the Yahoo! Messenger folder and press the Delete key on your keyboard.

DEFRAG your computer files to remove those empty spaces resulting from the deletion.

CLOSE all running applications EXCEPT for your Internet browser.

DISABLE YOUR ANTI VIRUS/ANTI SPY PROGRAM/S. Most times they interfere in the downloading/installation process.

Click the link below to download Yahoo Messenger…

Click the "Download Now" button.

Double-click the Yahoo Messenger executable once the download completes to begin the installation process.

Go to your Desktop and double-click "My Computer."

Select the "C:" drive.

Go to: C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Profiles

Drag/drop the copy of your Message Archive to the NEW Yahoo Messenger folder\Yahoo\Messenger\Profiles.

Help me..whats going on with windows xp home edition

When installing a new operating system, all file saved will be deleted. Since you've lost all data, you might as well format the entire drive, and then reinstall the vista inspirat thing. Then, download an Avast! anti virus form Download the home version, which is free and scan the computer for any viruses. Delete every last one of the suckers.

Hi kja2 ,

2 anti-virus software can not co-exist on a computer system ; therefore you did the correct thing by uninstalling the old anti-virus first . However , there are lots of anti-viruses which do not get deleted (uninstalled) by going to Start > control panel > Add/Remove program. These anti-virus have to be removed by special "uninstallers" . I do not know which Anti-virus you have on your system , therefore I will provide you with the link of most common anti-virus uninstallers :

Trend Micro:

once the antivirus is removed through the uninstaller , then try installaing the new anti-virus which was giving you "files corrupt" message ... it will then work fine.
Also , . I would like to suggest you a very good anti-virus which you can download free of cost from internet :

Goodluck :-)
