SOURCE: carafe for starbucks barista aroma grande

I think I have a fix for the lid. I need a couple people to send me their lid to see if my fix works. My fix does not involve any material destruction of the lid. I will send you the lid back regardless of whether the fix works or not.

Send me a note at [email protected] and I will give you an address to send it to.

SOURCE: lid for 12 cup barista aroma grande coffie maker, replacement

The exact same lid is on the Wolfgang Puck WPTPCM010 coffee maker. (It's exactly like the Starbucks one - same size & fit.) Call (800) 275-8273 and order part # WPTPCM010-6; the product description is "LID FOR CARAFE". It will cost you $4.99 + 5.00 shipping. My Starbucks coffee pot works PERFECTLY again. Just make sure that you put the lid on the carafe correctly before you use it, since the seal is new.

Krups gx6000 grinder advertises removable burr grinders and there are no instructions, but is that the best way to clean them?

Hi,
the Krups instruction manual is useless in this matter but if you do have some mechanical insight this is not very hard. You will need some tools, e.g. an Allen wrench to remove the housing lid.
Anyway, you should not have to clean the grinders very often, perhaps once a year is enough. It depends on the quality of the coffee beans you use; the more 'oily' beans the more frequent cleaning is required.
I would not use water to clean it, rather a small stiff brush (e.g. an old tooth brush), but if that is not enough, water will have to be used.
If so, be sure to assemble the grinder only after the burr is completely dry.
Check the link to Home Barista where a very similar grinder is shown, that should give you an idea about what to expect during the cleaning process.
Good luck;

Barista burr grinder,

Check the paddle wheel under the lower (conical) burr. You should be able to see vertical paddles that move the ground coffee. If any are broken or missing (very common if you've used rice intead of Grindz to clean the burrs) you need a new paddle wheel, which you can buy from Baratza.

Grinder jam on breville barista express

Only way to know for sure is by taking it completely apart and expose all the internal parts
Popping is not a good sign If it is electrical arcing you are playing with fire
or electrocution
If you are mechanically inclined they are not that hard to take apart as long as they have no security screws on it and you have to remember you might be voiding your warranty
But it is fun taking things apart No?

Need replacement part for Starbucks Barista Blade Grinder! Please help? Went to grind as I usually do but there is apparently a plastic circular part under the blades (I imagine that keeps the blades in...

your best bet is probably to search ebay for a dead one you can strip, cheaper grinders tend not to be supported with parts, personally id recommended throwing it away and getting a better grinder, blade grinders do not give a consistent grind, they are just about acceptable for grinding for a french press but anything else youll be far better off with a burr grinder

My Barista Burr Coffee Grinder suddenly grinds too fine.

If it is any consolation, mine just did the same thing, now takes too long to grind and it is way to fine dispite a thorough cleaning by disassembly.
