When I attempt to use hyperbolic functions for complex numbers i get a domain error

Have you checked the calculator's manual to see if the calculator is able (natively) to handle functions of a complex argument. It is able to handle simple algebra with complex numbers, powers, roots, solving a polynomial equation.
For this calculator, the hyperbolic functions must have a real argument otherwise you get a error. But just to make sure, try the exponential function with i (imaginary unit) as argument. If it comes back with a domain error you have your answer.

How do I set it to factory default settings? When I want to graph or want to do a zoom fit I get a ERR:SYNTAX 1:quit

Seems unlikely that you get a syntax error for both graphing and Zooming. Probably the error is in the function you are trying to graph.

To reset the RAM,
Press [2nd]MEM][7:Reset][1:All Ram][2:Reset] [ENTER]
Calculator answers with Ram Cleared.
Press [CLEAR] button to erase the above message.

Once Ram is cleared, open the [Y=] function editor and at the Y1= line, enter [X,T, theta, n] key or [ALPHA][X], to draw the simple function Y1=X.
If that works, that means your calculator is OK.

Gives error memory message when tries to change

Hi,
See if the cursor is checkered. If so, the calculator is out of memory.
You may have very little memory available and then wanted to create a table with a very small DeltaTbl (the table step). If the step is small, and the domain is large, very many points will have to be generated and that may make the calculator unable to comply for lack of RAM.

I suggest you free some Ram by clearing the lists, clearing the entries. To do so you press [2nd][MEM][3:Clear Entries] to clear entries, then press [2nd][MEM][4:ClrAllLists] to clear the lists.

Alternatively, you can just reset the Ram by pressing [2nd][MEM][7:Reset][1:All Ram][2:Reset][ENTER]. Then clear the Ram Cleared message and start again your table.

Hope it helps.
Thank you for using FixYa and for rating this solution.

ERR: INVALID DIM (That's the error message I receive every time I try to graph an equation)

Hello,
[2nd][MEM][7:Reset][1:All ram][2:Reset] [ENTER]. Screen shows RAM cleared. Clear the screen and use [Y=] to enter the functions you want to graph.
Hope it helps.

This can easily be fixed. An Archived program can't be deleted or run. So you just have to unarchive it. hit "2nd" then "+" then go down to where it says "Mem Mgmt/Del" and hit enter. then hit all. There should be a "*" next to the program you can't run. now just hit enter and in a couple seconds it will be unarchived and the * will go away. Then you can delete or run that program. Hope this helps alot. Good luck
