Re: internet in psp
Getting online with your PSP is very simple. First, you must be in
range of a Wifi hotspot (wireless local area network). You can adjust
network setting to connect to an access point such as a Wi-Fi hotspot
or the router on a wireless home network and save the network
connections data on your PSP®. Up to 10 connections can be saved.
Once in range of the hotspot, go to "Settings"
menu, >> "Network" Settings and press "X" Button. Select
"Infrastructure Mode" or "Ad Hoc Mode" and press X Button. Set up the
"New Connection". For details about Infrastructure Mode set up, or Ad
Hoc Mode set up, visit us.playstation.com.. hope this helps.

it depends on if you already have an internet connection. If you do then it should be as simple as scanning for the router. if not then you may be able to use wifi at a cafe or just connect to a neighbor. the first order of business is to get your own internet service though.
if you have a router you need to go on network connections on your psp and enter your internet details from the help of your pc. otherwise search for available networks and see if there are some without any security. tapp them and it should work. try it a couple of times around the house and you should be able to get a decent connection. Otherwise you need your own connection. Good luck :D
You need to have a WiFi network or be on a WiFi hotspot. If you are connecting to a secured network, make sure you get the passkey from the WiFi admin. If you want to setup a WiFi network at your place. You need to buy a Wireless router. Usually costs around $50-$60. This will share your internet connection wirelessly.
Hi, Nat2cool, Have you set the right protocol for the network? Sometimes you have to change it others, just leave the default, such as infrastructure and the like. I had the same issue and it was the protocol, the other is the switch. Make sure it's turn on. You'd be surprised how many people forget to slide the switch to the ON position.
I have fixed my PSP's over the years and have become almost an expert. Let me know if anything helps or if you need further help.
you're using a custom firmware i guess....3.52? or higher.
its just a normal message. the firmware is actually programmed to show that message if there is no available wifi signal or weak signals or if you're trying to connect to a restricted connection.hope this calmed you down.dont worry its normal for that firmware. :)
