Question about Universal MX-900 Remote Control
We have a Universal Remote Control MX-900 (Genesis). It will go into self-test mode all by itself at any time. After the self-test, it returns to the main menu. We then have to push Watch-->Cable to get back to the cable functions. This is quite annoying. I called Universal Remote Control for assistance. I was told to send the remote in for repair/replacement at a charge of $125.00 (the remote is out of warranty).
(I previously posted in error that this was the MX-800)

Turn off CPU, Unplug Power cable, And all usb devices, let it sit for about 20mins. Plug it all back in. Turn on the CPU! Also make sure if your device requires "DRIVERS" or if you have a CD download and install that before anything.
