What could be wrong if my pot won't pump water?

The water pump system is not primed properly. Remove the water tank while the pump is running and put back a couple of times. If not working, when the power is off, using a straw, blow air through and try to **** through the water port at the bottom of Keurig. Plug the water tank again in and start the system. It will take some time to prime, keep trying. There is nothing wrong with the machine, but the water pump circuit.

Our distiller has been leaking water out the bottom. We have ordered a new lid for the kettle, got it today and started the pot up. Well, it is still leaking. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi. Your brew unit is by passing the water that is supose to brew. You'll have to clean the brew unit. Jura brewunits are not easly removeable, + you can't buy parts unless your a authorised repairer. Try doing a manual descale cycle. You need to add descale solution to the watertank and operate the hot water and steam functions, which allows the solution to enter the system. Open these functions until water and steam are pumping through, then switch them off and let it sit for a few minutes, then repeat the above 5 or 6 times. This allows the solution to break up any build up. OK, now you have manualy descaled the steam and hot water circuits. Now allow the machine to try and make coffees." we are only trying to clean the machine, so dont drink the coffee." Try 5 or 6 times to see if this is starting to brew better. WE DO NOT LEAVE THE DESCALE SOLUTION IN THE MACHINE. We need to flush the system with fresh water as per above. Descale is corrosive, so we need to get it all out. Review the sections beginning on page 11 of the pdf on Turning Off the Grind Function (if not using the grind feature) and Making Coffee.

Make sure you are turning off the grind function if using preground coffee and that the reservoir lid is securely closed.

Check the Cups Setting button; is sounds like the 1-4 feature may be turned on.

Most likely problem is over temp cut out switch. Small diode attached to the boiler to prevent damage during boil dry, or fault in the heating element itself. Difficult machines to repair and best handled by a service technician.

This is an old question but I have the answer. I called Capresso Customer service. I told her what I was doing and she walked me through it. When it came to holding down the button for three seconds, I said I didn't get green lights but 4 solid red lights. She informed me the manual booklet was wrong and asked me where I got it. I said it came with the machine AND I looked it up online and downloaded a PDF of the manual just to double check. She informed me "Well, you are where you need to be now, so proceed with the decalcification". You think Capresso would put up or send out a notice to owners. They have my info and they have "refurbished" the machine once before. Weird.

This happens when the machine needs cleaned. Fill coffee maker with white vineger instead of water. Turn grind off, make sure empty pot is in place. Brew a pot of hot vineger. Repeat. Brew a pot of hot water. Repeat. This process removes mineral buildups inside machine. If you have access to filtered water, start using that to brew your coffee. I do and probably do this process 1 per 6 weeks.
