Most likely this "pro" formatted your computer
and did not install the Device drivers for you pc.
easy way to fix: You are going to need another pc with internet access and go to http://support.dell.com/support/index.aspx?~ck=pn
then go to drivers and downloads, type in your service tag number, download all the drivers, copy them to a disk(USB drive, CD, etc) and install them on the dell.
