My camera says frame no. Full

Not really familiar with that camera, but if it uses an SD or other memory card you might try reformatting the card. There should be an option for reformatting in your menu. (Reformatting will erase all pics). If that doesn't work you might try another memory card.
Also, try removing the battery for a few minutes to reboot the microprocessor.

Once a frame is erased is it gone forever even though there is a frame #?

That depends on where it was. If it was on a memory card instead of the camera's internal memory and if you haven't done anything else to the card since erasing the frame, you MIGHT be able to recover it. It's just like any other erased file on any other hard drive.

Do a Google search for "data recovery software" and select a program for your computer and operating system. Take the memory card out of the camera and put it into a card reader attached to your computer. Cross your fingers and run the program.

Camera won't let me take photo

Either put in a new memory card or erase the existing photos. See page 132 of this manual.

Alternatively, change the frame number setting as described on page 98.

I have a Fine Pix S 1800 and there is an error message 'Frame No. Full' that I can't fix. It won't let me take any more pictures. Do you have a fix for this?

Could be that your card is full. Have you used the card on another camera? If so you could have hidden folders on the card that are taking up space. Try formatting the memory card first and see if that helps. If this does not work then you should contact a Fujifilm authorized service center.

Canon ixus 75 how do you clear the memory card of pictures once its full

1) Select "View" on your camera
2) Select menu - page through until you come to Erase. You then should have an option to either erase frame or erase all.

3) You can also use the format option, that will also clear all data off you card.

If you don't have the instructions, I'd recommend you go to the Canon website, follow links for support and downloads, entering your camera details as you go and download a copy of the user manual/guide.

I have a 2 gig card that won't let you use that amount of room

Reformat he frame's internal memory.
1. Click on the "Macintosh HD" icon.
2. Click on "Applications".
3. Click on "Utilities".
4. Click on "Disk Utility".
5. "Kodak" drive should be in the list showing a white drive icon
6. Click that icon and select “Erase”.
7. Select the “MS-DOS file system (FAT16)” option and give it a volume name e.g. "Kodak". The format will begin when you click the “Erase” button below.
8. Try to copy the files to the re-formatted internal memory of the frame.

Card is full on my FinePix

Set the camera to the green playback (left most option on mode switch). Press the menu button and choose ERASE (trash icon) than ALL FRAMES. This will clear the card. Make sure you have downloaded or printed the images you wanted first as this will delete them.

Sometimes the memory card contacts develop dirty contacts. Might take a pencil eraser and lightly clean them and try again.

My fujifilm a800 will not let me take any pictures, saying 'frame no full' on the screen. please help

I've just had the same problem. You need to reformat your memory card (make sure you download your photos first as it will erase everything on the card). Then go into the set-up part of the menu on the camera. In there you should find the option -FRAME NO. This will be set on continuous. Select the option that says RENEW. This will reset the frame number counter. Once you have done this go back into the FRAME NO menu and set it back to continous. You can now start taking photos again as the counter has been reset.
