SOURCE: bake element t
I'm just guessing here...
Heating elements are high resistance. If the foil fell on the element near where it inserts into its socket it could have short circuited the element. If there's a fuse in the heating element wiring it could have blown. I could not find an electrical diagram for this stove so I don't know if it has a fuse or not.
Also, depending on the wiring your thermostat or selector switch may have been damaged. Does the broiler still work?
Let us know what you find.

Hi Rylee
Thanks for using FixYa. As everything is working fine so the issue is with the
oven temp. sensor (probe) going bad and should be replaced. Hope you understand
that both bake and broil element wont go bad at the same time. Please accept
the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further
assistance.
Thanks
Hello kimberlymaso - If you are referring to the bake element, but the broil element works then you would need to just replace the bake element. If both your bake and broil element does not work, then there might be a problem with the wiring communication. However, if the oven does not bake and/or broil but the cook top works; contact a professional to diagnose the EOC (electronic oven control).
