Display on motherboard reads FF

THat is the "power on and first initialize CPU" halt code. Most often, if this error occurs, you have a bad CPU. You should also check the JBAT1 jumper to be sure it is installed and on the correct pins. If the CMOS is being held reset or does not have its power source the system cannnot initialize the CPU.

Nice machine...try this:
If you have a spare video card that you know is working put it in and connect your monitor to will tell you if the motherboard video is good or not.
If it works then the motherboard is good
Then you can make an honest decision to send it back or keep it.

Im seeing F F on the mother board display on boot up not booting wat does that mean

Check to make sure that the BIOS jumper is in the correct position (1-2), if it's even present. If that doesn't work, try clearing the BIOS (although if the jumper was set to 2-3 to begin with, then that will do absolutely nothing). If that doesn't work, try reseating the CPU, and if that doesn't work, then check for any shorts, there might be some metal shavings on some jumpers or what not, or perhaps the brass standoffs might not be on correctly. Those are all the ideas that I have.

I hope this helps!
